About
I’m Timur Polyakov, a Cornell undergraduate studying Computer Science and Operations Research and Information Engineering. I started in August 2025 and expect to graduate in May 2029.
My work sits between software development, data analysis, and optimization. In Cornell ORIE research, I adapted a market-bidding approach to undergraduate course enrollment and built a simulator to compare it with senior-first registration.
Other projects include an Olympic performance analytics pipeline, a pathfinding visualizer, and an RPG built with a team in OCaml. I work with Python, Java, SQL, and OCaml, with additional experience in C++, JavaScript, and web development.
Studies
My coursework includes algorithms, optimization, probability and statistics, functional programming, and linear algebra.
